A man and a woman are in police custody following the kidnapping of an 11-month-old baby boy from his home in Laventille, Trinidad.
According to police reports, the child’s mother awoke yesterday to find her door open and her baby missing. After providing detailed information to the authorities, the matter was relayed to the Tobago police, who then launched an intensive investigation.
Acting on those leads, Tobago officers were able to locate the child on Thursday at a house in Signal Hill, Tobago. The baby was rescued from a man found at the premises.
Investigations are ongoing.
