In recent times, we’ve seen a growing trend in Point Fortin where businesses operated by non-residents of Point Fortin are benefiting from our local economy. Whether it’s the numerous supermarkets, doubles vendors, gyro vendors, or even a chow vendor, these non-local entities are capitalizing on opportunities that could be ours. Yet, when speaking with locals, the common response is often, “Point has limited business opportunities, Times hard, things tough.”
